High temperature lab press

We were hired for this project to design and build a specialized press for a research facility in Germany. The machine was optimized to vulcanize FKM (Fluoroelastomers) rubber samples for use in lab research to develop more efficient sealing solutions. Because FKM rubber is extremely heat-resistant, the installation required special heating and cooling plates. Our skilled engineers designed press plates that can heat up to 400 °C and cool down at a controlled rate of 15 °C/min.
